Old business:

Doug motioned for the BBQ dinner for Crockett Days, Saturday, August 17th would be $10.00 per person. Last year we had about 45-50 eaters, this year we would estimate 60-70 eaters.

-Ken explained 5 tires had been donated by the Washington co. Co-Op and that they would mount and balance the tires for free. Tubes would be necessary but they were willing to sell to us at cost, about $9.00 per tire. Ken asked that this charge be reimbursed. The group decided this was far below the original estimate of $50 per tire or $300 max that was agreed and passed in a prior meeting.

New business: -Ken stated that he and Dawn had a meeting with the Greene County Partnership, the 200th Anniversary of the Grand Lodge for Masons in Tennessee want to do a Laying of the Wreath ceremony for Crockett on or about Sept 27, 28. This event will appear on the Masons website, as well as in an article in the Greeneville Sun. Ken will update us later on a more accurate time, re-enactors would be much appreciated at this event.

-Doug explained that the tomahawks previously used at events are the personal property of Mark Halback and they have been removed by Mark from the park. Doug purchased replacement tomahawks from James Townsend catalog at $60 and moved for a reimbursement. Pam made an amended motion that the reimbursement come from the education fund. Steve seconded the motion. The motion passed.
